Jon R. Snyder:

For the past 30 years, Jon has been actively involved with commercial real estate and the business community in the Sacramento Region.

He started his real estate career in San Jose with a company then known as Ashwill Burke, and when the opportunity arose to start an office in Sacramento, he took the challenge and quickly became their general manger, running that office until they sold it several employees that included Mr. Snyder.  He served as the President of the company for six years and oversaw its seven statewide offices, but in 1993 the company was sold to the Galbreath Company, who in turn sold it to Jones Lang Lasalle, the nation’s largest full service commercial real estate company.  He served as its Senior Vice President for six years, then in 2003, left the company to open up his own operations.

Mr. Snyder has been recognized for his accomplishments in the Brokerage community that include Agent of the Year for three years with Ashwill Burke, ACRE’s Humanitarian of the Year award for 2000, and Office Agent of the Year for completing the largest lease transaction ever in the region.

Since the inception of Snyder Commercial Real Estate, Mr. Snyder has been providing development and acquisition services.

Mr. Snyder is actively involved with the community, with roles in several non-profits including the Mental Health Association of Sacramento, Christian Brothers High School, The Discovery Museum, and most recently, President of the Rotary Club of Sacramento.
